Service Description

Take some time to relax and restore with Yin Yoga at AIHS. Yin yoga is designed to target the connective tissues, such as the ligaments, bones, and even the joints of the body. Tension can be released from the body as well as the mind, as you hold postures for a longer period of time. The practice uses props such as bolsters, pillows and mats to helps to help position self safely while increase circulation, reduce stress and anxiety, and improve joint mobility and lessen fascial tension. It also helps to balance the internal organs and improve the flow of chi or prana. Yin yoga can help to unblock stagnant energy and build emotional awareness, as well as alleviate pain and tension in the body.
